The School Nutrition Foundation, Food Warming Equipment (FWE) are committed to school food service. For the first year, the FWE Equipment Grant program will award equipment to one (1) school district in need of improving its school meal kitchen facilities through a competitive grant process.

Equipment received from this award will consist of groups of pieces of equipment from FWE, which includes:



A FWE representative will work closely with the grant winner to determine its needs and help make final selections as well as arrange delivery of the equipment to the district.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be:
-Current director-level members of the School Nutrition Association, who have been members of SNA for at least one year (since at least January 1, 2021)
-Responsible for directing the school nutrition program of the school district

Applications must represent the entire school district’s equipment needs.

Applications will be reviewed for need, plan to integrate new equipment and impact of new equipment on school nutrition program.

If you are a finalist, you will be asked to create a 2-3 minute video displaying your kitchen equipment.
