about sna

The School Nutrition Association (SNA) is a national, nonprofit professional organization representing more than 50,000 members who provide high-quality, low-cost meals to students across the country. Recognized as the authority on school nutrition, SNA has been advancing the availability, quality and acceptance of school nutrition programs as an integral part of education since 1946.

Each year, state associations are required to submit their annual plans of action which outline the initiative(s) the state association will undertake related to the Areas of Focus of the SNA Strategic Plan

This form must be completed and submitted by January 1, 2023. This form informs SNA of the state's activities and is a required submission for the State President to be eligible for the President’s Award Service later this year.

Are you a SNA State Association or State Agency interested in holding an in person or virtual training session(s) on SNF’s LEAD to succeed Communications or Leadership Series? We are currently offering trainings in 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hours, and 4-hour increments. Titles and descriptions of each of our training sessions will be provided in the form. If you are looking to request training for multiple conferences or meetings please submit a separate request for each one.
If you are interested in holding trainings please provide the requested information so we can know how to best help you carry them out. Please submit training requests at least 8 weeks in advance to allow SNF enough time to match you with a trainer.

--- Please note you have until 4/20/25 to request a LEAD training that is taking place before 5/20/25.
